Easter Crafts for the Kids and Museum Garden Activities, York

Explore York's Museum Gardens and follow the springtime garden trail to discover the beautifully bright flowers and plants.

The children can then head inside the Yorkshire Museum to create a spring-themed pebble or plant pot with guidance from Artist Bea Knowles and inspiration from our Museum gardens. This family-friendly activity is included in the price of the museum admission and promises an enjoyable day out for all.

It will take place on the 4th and 11th April, 10am-3pm.

A “Once Upon a Fairytale” pantomime will be set within a circus big-top. Here, you can experience live music, magic and custard pie flinging fun with the edition of the Easter Bunny Magic & Mayhem Show.

Furthermore, the kids can learn circus skills in an exclusive workshop or join Cook Stars and Rupert’s Candy for interactive cookie and cake decorating demonstrations.

For the adrenaline junkies, egg-citing children’s rides will also be making an appearance.

Kids' Easter Egg Hunt in Sunderland

Based in Bridges shopping centre in Sunderland, this free Easter egg trail will run until the 5th of  April with a prize for everyone who completes it.

They then mark them off their map. Once they’ve found all the egg displays, they can return to Customer Services to claim their prize.

Will you be able to find all the Easter eggs?

Easter Story for the Kids at Bradford Libraries

This is an eggcellent idea for kids who love animals!

To add to the challenge, you must solve the clues at each checkpoint to crack the code and reveal a golden egg hidden in a top-secret location. Once completing this trail, you will be rewarded with a tasty treat.

This event will take place from March 29th to April 14th and is included in the cost of the zoo entry ticket.
