FIFA 18 to feature Grand Central Rail

Grand Central Rail, the official travel partner of Huddersfield Town, will feature in the new FIFA 18 video game from Electronic Arts for the first time.

Following Huddersfield Town’s newfound Premier League status, the football club and its home ground, the John Smith’s Stadium, will now star in the new video game. To make the experience as real as possible for players of the game, EA Sports have introduced Real Player Motion Technology, supporters in replica shirts appear in the stands and the stadium is shown as fans would see on match days, right down to the LED boards around the pitch.

Just as fans would see Grand Central’s LED advertisements at the John Smith’s stadium on match days, players of the game will see this advertisement featured in the game.

FIFA 18 still

Richard McClean, Managing Director of Grand Central Rail, said: “We are pleased to be included in the new FIFA game, which will give us visibility among new exciting sports audiences. We are very proud of our partnership with Huddersfield Town and the chance it gives us to engage with the community along our route. We look forward to fans of Huddersfield Town and Grand Central alike enjoying such a realistic game experience.”

FIFA 18, will be released worldwide on September 29th 2017.
