Where is Bradford Interchange station?
Bradford Interchange railway station is conveniently located for city commuters and weekend visitors alike. You’ll find the entrance to the station along Bridge Street, right next to Bradford Coach Station.
After just a short walk, you’ll be in the heart of the city centre. Whether you’re heading to the National Science and Media Museum or the picturesque City Park, the best attractions in Bradford are just a stone’s throw away from this useful Bradford station.
Bradford Interchange station is not to be confused with Bradford Forster Square railway station, which is located half a mile away. The two railway stations were developed in the 19th century by separate companies, each with different plans for the railway network.
Both of the main Bradford train stations connect the city to destinations across the UK but Bradford Interchange is most convenient for services to Leeds, York, Manchester and other major towns and cities to the south.

How do I find and book Grand Central trains at Bradford rail station?

You’ll be able to choose how you’d prefer to receive your tickets. You can download or print e-tickets at home or we can send tickets to you in the post. Alternatively, if you opt to collect your tickets from the machine at the station, they’ll be ready and waiting for you on the day.
If you’ve chosen an Advance fare, we’ll then automatically reserve a seat for you. Or, for Anytime fares, the booking system will prompt you to choose whether you’d like to reserve a seat.

Where do I catch my train?
After arriving at the taxi point or drop-off area to the south side of the station, you’ll see the entrance to the station straight away. However, if you’re approaching from Bridge Street, you’ll need to cross the road to get to the main entrance.
There are four platforms at Bradford Interchange station and it can be helpful to know where to go in advance once you arrive. Platforms don’t correspond to train routes at Bradford Interchange, so we’d recommend checking the live departures on your day of travel.

There’s only a small, short-stay car park at Bradford Interchange station, with a maximum stay of 20 minutes. If you need to drive to the station before catching your train, it’s worth checking availability in one of the other car parks nearby.
