The Piece Hall Christmas Market will take place every weekend in the lead-up to Christmas.

The market will open on Fridays and Saturdays from 10 am to 8 pm and on Sundays from 10 am to 4 pm. Dates include:

Shibden Hall Winter Craft Fair

A Winter Craft Fair will take place at Shibden Hall, one of the most historic houses in Halifax.

It is an excellent opportunity to visit the lovely surroundings of the Hall while seeking out handmade crafts, festive decorations and locally produced treats.

Light Up The Valley in Halifax UK

This year, the ever-popular Light Up The Valley will be spread across two venues.

On November 24th, the Mytholmroyd Community Centre will host a Christmas market, live entertainment, a Santa's Grotto, and children's rides from 12 pm – 7 pm.

On November 28th, Hebden Bridge will light up St. George's Square and the Town Hall from 3 pm - 8 pm with festive cheer, a Christmas lights switch-on, live performances, and much more family-friendly fun.

Brighouse Christmas Market 

The Brighouse Christmas Market returns on November 30th and December 1st, promising a weekend of festive shopping, delicious food, and a visit from Santa himself.

One of the most hotly anticipated events of the season, the Halifax Christmas Parade, takes place on November 30th.

The Starlight Parade will pack the town centre from 4 pm with floats, festive music, and a lively atmosphere.

Christmas Tree Festival at Halifax Minster

Between December 2nd and 5th, Halifax Minster will display an array of more than 30 stunningly decorated Christmas trees, each sponsored by local families and organisations.

It's a wonderful sight and forms part of a lovely peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of Christmas shopping. The festival will open between 10 am-4 pm on weekdays and 12 pm - 4 pm on Sundays.

Winter Walks Around Shibden Park in Halifax England
