Centrepoint

Grand Central has been supporting youth homelessness charity Centrepoint for the last three years, providing rail travel support, work experience and sponsorship to help give young homeless people a better future.

Centrepoint is the UK's leading youth homelessness charity, together with partners, supporting more than 10,000 young people every year.

In recent years, our staff have supported the charity’s Sleep Out events, raising more than £2000 in 2018 at sleepouts in Sunderland and Bradford.

We are also working with Centrepoint to offer a new youth ambassadors scheme in Sunderland, which will work with a small number of vulnerable young people to provide work experience and mentoring opportunities.
