National Railway Museum
The National Rail Museum based in York is part of the Science Museum Group.
In 2020 architectural practice Feilden Fowles won an international competition to create the museum’s new Central Hall building—a key element of the museum’s Vision 2025 masterplan. Vision 2025, the £55.3m transformation of the National Railway Museum in York and Locomotion in Shildon, is a five-year journey to become the World’s Railway Museum, connecting the past with the present to inspire the innovators of the future.
As part of our partnership we have been involved in a range of events, from providing transport for school trips to taking part in their educational and careers projects. We look forward to further opportunities in the future.
