Due to a landslip between Pontefract Monkhill and Pontefract East Jn, Grand Central trains will not be calling at Pontefract Monkhill until further notice.

If possible, customers are advised to board/get off their Grand Central train service at Wakefield Kirkgate.

Alternatively, there will be a rail replacement bus service between Pontefract Monkhill and Doncaster to connect to onward rail services.

Customers using the rail replacement service travelling to London from Ponterfract Monkhill, your ticket will be valid today on any Grand Central service from Doncaster and on the following LNER services:-

• LNER 0920 from Doncaster, arriving London Kings Cross at 11:00
• LNER 1225 from Doncaster, arriving London Kings Cross at 14:23
• LNER 1657 from Doncaster, arriving London Kings Cross at 18:41
