Engineering work is taking place between Doncaster and Peterborough, closing various lines.
Grand Central
All Grand Central services will divert via Lincoln.
Grand Central will operate a reduced service between Sunderland / Bradford Interchange and London Kings Cross this weekend.
Additionally, on Sunday the 08:04 Bradford Interchange to London Kings Cross will divert via Wakefield Westgate, and will not call at Low Moor, Halifax, Brighouse, Mirfield and Westfield Kirkgate.
Replacement bus services will operate between Halifax, Low Moor and Bradford Interchange, and between Brighouse, Mirfield and Wakefield Westgate.
Hull Trains
It is not yet known how the engineering work will affect this service. Please check back closer to time of travel.
LNER
Services to / from Bradford Forster Square will start / terminate at Leeds. You should make use of alternative operator's services to complete your journey.
LNER will operate a reduced service between Inverness / Aberdeen / Edinburgh / Newcastle / Leeds and London Kings Cross, with some services being diverted via Lincoln.
Other services to / from the North will terminate at either York or Newcastle, and services between Grantham and London Kings Cross will run on an hourly schedule.
Replacement bus services will operate between Grantham, Newark, Lincoln, Retford and Doncaster.
Lumo
Lumo will operate a reduced service between London Kings Cross and Edinburgh, with some services starting / terminating at Newcastle.

- Major engineering work affecting Island Line services from to Saturday 7 September 2024 until Sunday 4 May 2025
Major engineering work is taking place on the Island Line, closing parts of the route until May 2025.
Saturday 7 September to Sunday 6 October:
No trains will run on the Island Line.
Replacement buses will run between Shanklin and Ryde Pier Head.
Monday 8 October until Sunday 4 May:
No trains will run between Ryde Esplanade and Ryde Pier Head.

- Buses replace early morning / late night trains between Burnham and Taplow on Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 October
Engineering work is taking place between Southall and Reading, closing some lines on Saturday and Sunday evening, and on Sunday morning.
As a result, the following trains will not call at Burnham or Taplow:
Saturday:
- The 23:45 Didcot Parkway to London Paddington service.
Sunday:
- The 00:34 London Paddington to Reading service.
After this time, trains normally only call at Burnham as Taplow station closes on Sundays.
The following trains will not call at Burnham:

- Amended 01:24 Dartford to Gillingham service on Sunday 6 October
Engineering work is taking place between Dartford and Gillingham, closing various lines on Saturday night / Sunday morning.
As a result, the 01:24 Dartford to Gillingham service will terminate at Gravesend. A replacement bus will run from Gravesend to Gillingham.
Please note that this train runs very early on Sunday morning, but at the end of Saturday's service.

Additionally, the 07:55 Swansea to London Paddington service will start from Cardiff Central. Replacement buses will run from Swansea to Cardiff Central, with both fast and stopping buses available.

- No evening / morning Southern service between Shepherds Bush and Watford Junction on Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 October
Engineering work is taking place between Shepherds Bush and Watford Junction, closing some lines.
As a result, from 20:00 Saturday until 12:00 Sunday, and after 21:00 on Sunday, no Southern trains will run between Shepherds Bush and Watford Junction.
Ticket Acceptance:
You can use London Overground trains between Clapham Junction and Willesden Junction.
You can also use alternative Southern trains between Clapham Junction and London Victoria, London Underground services between Victoria and Euston, and London North Western Railway services / London Overground services between London Euston and Watford Junction.
Tickets will also be accepted on the following London Underground trains between 20:00 on Saturday and 12:00 Sunday, and after 21:00 on Sunday:
- Victoria to Euston (Victoria line)
- Victoria to Shepherds Bush (Circle or Central line)
- Victoria to West Brompton (District line)
- Oxford Circus to Harrow & Wealdstone (Bakerloo line)

Engineering work is taking place in the Llandudno Junction area, closing some lines.
Avanti West Coast:
Saturday:
Trains will start / terminate at Chester.
Avanti West Coast plan to operate a replacement bus service between Chester - Llandudno Junction - Bangor - Holyhead. This has yet to be uploaded.
Sunday:
Trains between London Euston and Holyhead will not run.
Transport for Wales:
A reduced train service will run between Llandudno Junction and Holyhead together with replacement buses between Chester and Holyhead.

Engineering work is taking place between Cheltenham Spa and Gloucester, closing all lines.
CrossCountry:
Buses will replace trains between:

Trains to / from Bristol Temple Meads and beyond will be amended to run to / from Gloucester to connect with the bus services.
Great Western Railway:
Buses will replace trains between Cheltenham Spa and Gloucester / Ashchurch for Tewkesbury / Worcester Shrub Hill / Worcester Foregate Street.
Additionally, the 14:50 London Paddington to Great Malvern services will terminate at Worcester Shrub Hill. For Great Malvern, you should use earlier / later train services.
Transport for Wales:
No Transport for Wales trains will run between Gloucester and Cheltenham Spa.

Engineering work is taking place between Redbridge and St Denys, closing all lines.
CrossCountry:
Buses will replace trains between Southampton Airport Parkway and Bournemouth.
Great Western Railway:
Trains between Cardiff Central and Portsmouth Harbour will run to an amended timetable, and will be diverted between Romsey and Fareham to run via Chandlers Ford and Eastleigh, calling additionally at both stations. These trains will not call at Southampton Central.
Replacement buses will run between Eastleigh and Southampton Central.
South Western Railway:
Buses replace trains between:
- Southampton Parkway and Bournemouth.
- Southampton Parkway and New Milton.
- Brockenhurst and Lymington.
- Southampton Central and Woolston.
- Eastleigh and Romsey.

The 23:11 Horsham to Peterborough service will terminate at Stevenage. A replacement bus will run from Stevenage to Peterborough.
Sunday:
The 00:36 and 01:07 London Kings Cross to Letchworth Garden City services will terminate at Stevenage. Replacement buses will run from Stevenage to Letchworth Garden City. Please note that these trains run at the end of Saturday service.

Engineering work is taking place between Newark Northgate and Collingham, closing some lines.
As a result, an amended timetable will be in place this weekend. No train services will operate between Newark Northgate and Lincoln, and a replacement bus services will operate between Collingham and Lincoln.
Saturday only:
The 08:18 Newark Northgate to Cleethorpes service will start from Lincoln, departing at 08:41. A replacement bus service will operate between Newark Northgate and Lincoln.
The 14:15 Doncaster to Peterborough service will depart earlier than usual at 14:11.
The 18:00 Lincoln to Peterborough service will run to an amended schedule.

Engineering work is taking place between Lewisham and Dartford / Orpington, closing all lines.
Accessible replacement buses will run between:
- Lewisham and Orpington.
- Lewisham and Dartford via Sidcup.
Paddock Wood Line: Trains between London Charing Cross and Ramsgate / Dover Priory via Tonbridge will be diverted to run to / from London Victoria. Trains between London Victoria and Dover Priory via Tonbridge will only run between London Victoria and Ashford International because of further engineering work.
Hastings Line: Trains between London Charing Cross and Hastings will be retimed and diverted by an alternative route between London Bridge and Orpington.
Grove Park Line: Trains between London Charing Cross and Sevenoaks will not run.
Bromley South Line: Trains between London Victoria and Orpington will be extended to run to / from Sevenoaks.
Sidcup Line: Trains which usually only run between London Charing Cross and Dartford will not run. Trains between London Charing Cross and Gravesend will be diverted to run via Bexleyheath. These trains are extended to run to / from Strood because of further engineering work.
